Huddersfield Town Goalkeeper Jonas Lössl spoke to HTTV ahead of tomorrow’s Premier League clash against Burnley.

With Saturday’s game being the final game of 2017, the Dane took the time to reflect on his season so far and also spoke about what he got up to on Christmas Day:

“I think it’s gone good. Obviously, we’ve had some bad games – but we expected that. I think we’ve done very well as a team to get 23 points now and I’m happy with that.

“The Premier League is the biggest league in the world and I defiantly felt that from the start. There are no easy games, every game is a big game and has good players. It’s been an amazing journey so far and has lived up to expectations.”

With Jonas being in the thick of the action in the last two games, Town’s ‘keeper spoke through his save in the recent game against Stoke and also previewed tomorrow’s game against Burnley:

“Burnley are a very good opponent who have done very well this season. They’re a team like us, as I see it they don’t win on individuals, they win on a strong team and a plan – as we do.

“They play pretty similar to how we do, they attack in some of the same ways and defend some of the same ways – it’s going to be a tight game.

“They have a very strong defence and they have been very clinical in front of goal; they don’t need many chances to score. We need to fight and if we do that we stand a good chance.”
