Town’s youngsters performed excellently to come back from a goal down after just 15 seconds to draw over 120 minutes, with substitute Micah Obiero netting the equaliser.
Unfortunately for Town, Fulham came out on top in a sudden-death penalty shootout to progress to the next round.
Leigh Bromby’s side, which sits second in the Professional Development League, will return to competitive action in early January 2018.
