Tony departs role as Academy Head of Coaching

- Tony Carss departs Huddersfield Town

- End of Tony's spell at Town as a player & coach

Huddersfield Town can today confirm that Tony Carss has departed his role as Head of Coaching in the Club’s Academy.

Carss, who made 89 appearances for the Club as a midfielder between 2003 and 2006, initially joined the Academy’s technical staff as a part-time coach in 2007 before being named Professional Development Coach alongside Lead Coach Frankie Bunn in the summer of 2012.

When Frankie stepped up the age groups to become Senior Professional Development Coach and lead the Club’s Development Squad in July 2014, Carss became Lead Professional Development Coach, taking full time charge of the Under-18s.

He moved to become Head of Coaching in December 2016.

Everyone at Huddersfield Town would like to thank Tony for his service as a player and a coach and wishes him all the best for the future.
