Four debutants in Wagner’s starting XI

- David Wagner names starting XI for Town’s first ever Premier League match
- Four players will make their Town debuts this afternoon
- Three summer signings are selected on the bench

Huddersfield Town Head Coach David Wagner has named his starting line-up for the Club’s first ever Premier League match.

Wagner has handed four of Town’s summer recruits their competitive debuts for the Terriers’ match against Crystal Palace; 3pm kick-off at Selhurst Park.

Goalkeeper Jonas Lössl, defender Mathias Zanka, attacking midfielder Tom Ince and striker Steve Mounié will all pull on the Blue and White stripes for the first time, whilst summer recruits Aaron Mooy and Kasey Palmer also start after signing permanently this summer from their respective loan spells.

Defender Scott Malone, midfielder Danny Williams and striker Laurent Depoitre also have the chance to make their Huddersfield Town debuts after being selected on the substitutes bench.

Jonathan Hogg (ankle), Martin Cranie (hip flexor), Nahki Wells (ankle) and Jon Gorenc Stanković (knee) are all absent from David Wagner’s First Team squad through injury.
