Huddersfield Town will face Sky Bet League 1 side Rotherham United in the Second Round of the 2017/18 Carabao Cup at the John Smith’s Stadium.
The Terriers were drawn at home to the Millers in Thursday’s 10pm draw, which took place live on Sky Sports News.
The game will be played during the week commencing 21 August 2017, with exact details to be confirmed in due course.
Following Town’s promotion to the Premier League, David Wagner’s side was seeded in the regionalised draw, with the Second Round’s one legged matches being decided on the evening with use of extra time and penalties if needed.
Rotherham United was relegated to Sky Bet League 1 last season, finishing 24th with 23 points from 46 Sky Bet Championship games.
The side managed by Paul Warne lost twice to Town last season; 2-1 at the John Smith’s Stadium and 3-2 at the AESSEAL New York Stadium.
