Huddersfield Town’s Under-18s side lost 2-0 to Crystal Palace in the Professional Development League at PPG Canalside in the penultimate match of the season.
After a tight and goalless first half, Leigh Bromby’s youngster fell behind three minutes into the second period.
Young full back Sam Gibson brought down a Crystal Palace player in the box, before the away side slotted home to take the league.
Following the opener, Palace began to dominate chances and doubled its lead in the 59th minute to earn all three points.
