Second home live TV game for the Terriers

- Wigan Athletic game picked by Sky Sports
- Fixture moved to Monday 28 November 2016
- Second live Sky game after Sheff Wed (H)

Huddersfield Town’s Sky Bet Championship home game against Wigan Athletic will now take place in front of the Sky TV cameras on Monday 28 November, 7.45pm kick-off.

With neither side set to feature in EFL Cup Round Five that week, the fixture has been switched from Saturday 26 November 2016 and will see the Terriers televised live at the John Smith’s Stadium for the first time in the month.

The game is of one of 92 being screened live in the Sky Bet Championship throughout 2016/17 with the next tranche of matches for live coverage being selected for December and the first week of January 2017 by the end of September.

An announcement will made shortly after, in line with the EFL’s joint commitment with broadcast partner Sky Sports to give clubs and supporters at least five weeks’ notice ahead of any matches being rearranged for television.

This is scheduled to be Town’s second live Sky TV game of the season, following the selection of the Yorkshire derby against Sheffield Wednesday.
