Huddersfield Town Head Coach David Wagner and midfielder Aaron Mooy are on the four-man shortlists for the Sky Bet Championship August 2016 Manager and Player of the Month awards.
Town’s Head Coach is up against Burton Albion’s Nigel Clough, Bristol City’s Lee Johnson and Barnsley’s Paul Heckingbottom for the monthly accolade after guiding the Terriers to 13 points from a possible 15 in the opening month of the campaign.
Meanwhile, Australian international Mooy – who was awarded the Club’s BWF August Player of the Month award too – is competing with Fulham’s Tom Cairney, Barnsley’s Conor Hourihane and Wolves’ Matt Doherty for the players’ award.
Both winners will be announced from 6am on Friday 9 September 2016.
The judging panel comprises Sky Sports’ EFL expert Don Goodman; EFL Communications Director Mark Rowan, League Managers’ Association Director Olaf Dixon and Sky Bet Football Trading Manager Paul Lowery.
