A superb second half performance from Town’s Under-18s side earned Tony Carss’ side a 3-0 win over Ipswich Town in the Under-18 Professional Development League.

The side selected by Lead Professional Development Coach Tony Carss included trialist Joe Kouadia, who started the match upfront, moving Cedwyn Scott into the ‘number 10’ position.

After a close and goalless first half, the Under-18s took the lead in the 61st minute through second year striker Cedwyn Scott.

The goal seemed to inspire the youngsters as they doubled their lead just three minutes later. Luca Colville, who played 90 minutes for the Under-23s on Thursday, rifled a 25 yard-strike into the back of the net.

Cedwyn Scott completed the scoring with just 19 minutes remaining earning the young Terriers their second win of the season.

Highlights from the game will appear on HTTV during the week.

Town’s team (4-2-3-1):
