PREVIEW: U23s AT PALACE ON TUESDAY

10 October 2016

Young Terriers back in PDL action in London

- Town Under-23s at Crystal Palace on Tuesday
- Game kicks off at Selhurst Park at 1pm
- Watch highlights of the last game against West Brom

Huddersfield Town’s Under-23 side is back in Professional Development League action on Tuesday afternoon with a trip to face Crystal Palace of the southern section.

The game will kick-off at Selhurst Park at 1pm, with admission to the game priced at £5 for adults and £1 concessions at the Box Office if you’re in the area!

Palace’s youngsters are managed by former Coventry City and Crystal Palace defender Richard Shaw and have enjoyed a decent start to the new campaign, winning three and drawing two of their first seven matches.

After seven games, Frankie Bunn’s Town side sits third in the 10-team PDL North table with 13 points; just one behind group leaders Sheffield Wednesday.

However, the young Terriers do come into the game on the back of a rare defeat at the hands of West Brom in the opening U23 Premier League Cup game last Friday; highlights are below courtesy of HTTV.

Town will play every team from the northern group twice this season, plus each southern team – like Crystal Palace – once, either home or away.

Teams can play up to three overage outfield players in each game, as well as an overage goalkeeper if required.
