Huddersfield Town’s Under-18 side face Millwall at PPG Canalside in the Professional Development League at PPG Canalside on Saturday morning.
The match will kick-off at PPG Canalside at 11am and is free to attend for Town supporters!
Professional Development Coaches Tony Carss and Leigh Bromby’s squad will look to bounce back from their 2-0 defeat to Charlton Athletic last week. Two second half goals condemned the U18s for their fourth defeat of the season; you can watch the highlights below courtesy of HTTV.
The defeat means the young Terriers go into Saturday’s game in sixth position in the 10 team northern table with 13 points from nine games.
Their opponents this weekend are currently fourth in the southern side of the PDL, having accumulated 12 points from their opening nine matches.
During the season, Town will play each team in the northern group twice – once at home and once away – and each team from the southern section once.
At the end of the normal league programme, the top two teams from each section face off against each other to determine the overall champion.
Why not pop in to PPG Canalside for a drink or food before the match? The kitchen is open from 10am before the game serving breakfast sandwiches such as bacon and sausage! Follow @htafccanalside for more information.
As well as the Under-18 game, Club Ambassador Andy Booth returns to present Boothy's Beer & Banter which is at PPG Canalside from 12.30pm on Saturday too, with former Scotland international Archie Gemmill as this week's special guest!
