'Boothy’s Beer & Banter’ returns at PPG Canalside on Monday 28th November prior to Town’s Sky Bet Championship game against Wigan Athletic.
Club Ambassador, Andy Booth will be back to host 'Boothy’s Beer & Banter' and this time he will be joined by Huddersfield Town legends; Ian Robins and Brian Stanton.
The two men played an integral part in Town’s famous 1979/1980 season where the Club was promoted from Division Four; winning the league and Robins (below left) finishing the season as the league’s top scorer.
Stanton (above right) joined the Terriers ahead of that season from Bury and the midfielder went on to make 209 appearances for the Club, scoring 45 goals.
Fans will have the opportunity to join three of Huddersfield Town’s greatest players and ask them questions, hear stories of their time in the game as well as take part in a quiz with prizes to be won.
‘Boothy’s Beer and Banter’ is free for all members and £2 on the door for non-members, to join PPG Canalside as a member costs £20 a year-you can join on the day or earlier to avoid queues.
Food is available on the day as well as drinks from the bar with real ales including; Theakston's Lightfoot and Timothy Taylor's Landlord. There are special offers on four pint pitchers of John Smith's Smooth, Fosters, Heineken and Rekorderlig – all at £10. Draught Strongbow is also available.
