Huddersfield Town’s Development Squad travels to the midlands on Monday to face Birmingham City as they aim to get back to winning ways, following four consecutive defeats.

The young Terriers face Birmingham City in a 1pm kick-off with their last victory coming on Friday 21 October in a 3-0 win against Barnsley.

Town’s previous two outings have been decided by fine margins with just one goal proving to be the difference in both the Leeds United and Sheffield Wednesday games, showing clear signs of improvement.

Town’s Under-23s were beaten 3-2 by Leeds United when Marcus Antonsson scored a late winner; despite first half goals from Dominic Tear and Lewis O’Brien. You can watch the highlights below via HTTV!

Following the defeats Town’s Under-23s side currently sits third in the Professional Development league, two points behind second placed Sheffield Wednesday.

Town’s opponents, Birmingham City, heads into the game after back-to-back victories against Leeds and Stoke City which helped them climb up the table to just one place below Town in fourth; with only one point separating the two sides.

As always, the top two sides from the northern table will qualify for the end-of-season Professional Development League Play-Offs against the equivalent southern table sides to crown the overall PDL champion.

You can keep up-to-date with the score via the Club’s Twitter account @htafcdotcom and the highlights will appear on HTTV later this week.
