LOTS IN STORE AROUND SATURDAY'S GAME!

4 November 2016

Information on Town’s home fixture this weekend

- Lots in store at Saturday's game vs Birmingham City
- Activity planned for Town's annual Remembrance Game
- Match day starts at PPG Canalside at 11am

Huddersfield Town will host its annual Remembrance Game when Birmingham City visits the John Smith’s Stadium in the Sky Bet Championship on Saturday.

Ahead of the 3pm kick-off, the Club will hold a minute’s silence to remember those connected with Huddersfield Town who have given their lives in active service of their countries.

Members of the Royal British Legion will be on site all day holding a bucket collection, whilst Yorkshire Regiment solider Patrick Carrig will lead the teams out of the tunnel ahead of the game.

Town’s kit will not carry a poppy on it this weekend; that will instead happen when the EFL holds its Remembrance Weekend on 19 November, when the Terriers take on Cardiff City in Wales.

There’s more information on the Town players who have lost their lives in active service in Saturday’s match day programme GUAH, as well as details of life at the Club during the war years. Head Coach David Wagner is the feature interview; he looks back at his first year as Huddersfield Town boss. Click HERE for a full preview of what to expect in this weekend’s programme!
