LOAN: ‘KEEPER TADHG RYAN JOINS RADCLIFFE

1 November 2016

19 year-old departs until 30 November

- HTAFC goalkeeper Tadhg Ryan leaves on loan
- 19 year-old custodian joins Radcliffe Borough
- Youth loan initially until 30 November 2016

Huddersfield Town’s Development Squad goalkeeper Tadhg Ryan has today joined Radcliffe Borough on loan until 30 November 2016.

This is a first loan spell for the 19 year-old custodian, who joined Town’s Academy from hometown club Limerick FC back in August 2014.

Radcliffe Borough is based in Greater Manchester and plays in the Evo-Stik League Northern Premier League First Division North. That’s the eighth tier of the English football pyramid, with Town’s First Team playing in the second.

Managed by Bill Prendergast, ‘The Boro’ play at Taurus Park and currently sits 13th in the table with 18 points from 13 matches.

Radcliffe needs a goalkeeper due to an injury to previous incumbent, Matthew Johnson. Sadly the Everton loanee broke his leg during Radcliffe’s game at home to Colne on Saturday, causing the game to be abandoned.

The paperwork for Tadhg’s loan has been completed in time for him to be eligible for Radcliffe’s league game at home to Hyde United this evening (Tuesday 1 November 2016).
