Huddersfield Town’s Futsal Scholars had the experience of a lifetime last month thanks to a four day tour of Barcelona.
A party of scholars, who are usually based at the Zone facility on St. Andrew’s Road, travelled to Barcelona and played two games, on top of taking in some of the great football sites in the Barcelona and Salou area.
Both games against technically impressive sides from Salou and Riudoms finished in 3-0 victories for the Terriers, who also had the chance to take in a tour of Barcelona’s Camp Nou.

Huddersfield Town’s Futsal Head Coach Mark Tinker said:
“It was a fantastic opportunity for all of our players to experience playing football and representing Huddersfield Town in a different country against foreign opposition whilst taking in the culture and history of Barcelona.
“I was extremely proud of the players’ attitudes and how they conducted themselves throughout the tour and I have no doubt that the players will have fantastic memories that they will never forget.”
