5 March 2016

Four changes to the starting XI

- Wagner makes four changes to starting XI
- Husband, Cranie, Paterson & Lolley return
- Davidson, Lynch, Hogg & Matmour drop out

Huddersfield Town Head Coach David Wagner has made four changes to his starting line-up for today’s Sky Bet Championship game against Derby County; 3pm kick-off at the iPro Stadium.

Two of the changes come in defence. As expected Martin Cranie replaces the injured Joel Lynch at centre half, but loanee James Husband also returns at left back in place of Jason Davidson.

With Jonathan Hogg now ruled out for eight weeks with the knee injury sustained against Ipswich Town last weekend, Jamie Paterson returns to the side today.

There’s welcome news in the attacking areas, where Joe Lolley is fit enough to replace Karim Matmour.

On the bench, 22 year old goalkeeper Lloyd Allinson replaces Joe Murphy, who hasn’t travelled to the Midlands due to a shoulder problem.
