- David Wagner makes three changes to XI
- Sean Scannell, Karim Matmour & Jason Davidson start
- Philip Billing out due to illness
Huddersfield Town Head Coach David Wagner has made four changes to his starting XI for today’s Sky Bet Championship game against Burnley; 3pm kick-off at the John Smith’s Stadium.
After making his return from an 11 game injury absence as a substitute in Tuesday night’s win over Reading, Sean Scannell makes his first start since 9 January; he replaces Harry Bunn in the line-up.
The second change comes in midfield, where Emyr Huws returns from an ankle injury to make his first start in nine games at the expense of Kyle Dempsey
Algeria international Karim Matmour also starts today, having missed the win over the Royals through illness. This means Jamie Paterson drops to the bench.
The final switch to the XI comes at left back, where Jason Davidson makes a first start in three games at the expense of James Husband.
Joe Lolley, who starts again, is making his 50th Huddersfield Town appearance in all competitions.
There are two returns from injury on the bench today as Joe Murphy and Joel Lynch take the places of Lloyd Allinson and Regan Booty.
