Huddersfield Town’s Under-18s side travels to Watford on Saturday morning to take on the Hornets in the Professional Development League 2.
The young Terriers have won seven games in the last eight in all competitions; the latest of which was a 5-2 home victory over Bristol City last weekend. Highlights of that game are below courtesy of HTTV!
The side, which will be led by Professional Development Coach Leigh Bromby this weekend, is now third in the league and could leap into second with a victory at the weekend, depending on Sheffield United's result.
Saturday’s host, led by coach David Horseman, sits second in the southern division with 38 points from 21 games. As per the league rules, the game is one of 10 throughout the course of the campaign against opposition from the southern division.
Town last lost away from home in the league in early-October, so it’ll be an intriguing encounter as the sides have yet to come up against each other yet this season.
The Professional Development League 2 is split into two regional divisions, North and South. Teams play opponents in their own division twice and the other division once, before the top two teams from each league meet in the Play-Offs to determine the overall champions.
