The side, which is managed by Lead Professional Development Coach Tony Carss, currently sits fourth in the northern league with 47 points from 26 games. A win at Oakwell would see the team jump above Crewe Alexandra into third in the division, two points behind second placed Sheffield United in the final Play-Off position.
Barnsley's Under-18 side comes into the game placed bottom of the table with 13 points from 26 games.
