Huddersfield Town midfielder Emyr Huws earned a sixth Wales cap in an international friendly in Ukraine on Monday night.

The 22 year-old, who is on a season-long loan from Wigan Athletic, played 79 minutes in the Vauxhall International Friendly match in Ukraine at the Olympic Stadium in Kiev, which Wales lost 1-0.

He was an unused substitute in a previous friendly at home to Northern Ireland a few days ago.

These two friendlies took place ahead of the UEFA Euro 2016 competition that takes place in the summer, which Wales qualified for by finishing second in Qualifying Group B.

To date, Emyr has scored five goals in 22 starts and two substitute appearances for Huddersfield Town.

He was named the Blue & White Foundation’s September 2015 Player of the Month after scoring four goals in his first three starts for the Club.
