Two different teams in each half this evening

Every one of David Wagner’s available First Team squad members are expected to get time on the pitch during the opening friendly of the 2016/17 pre-season calendar at Guiseley AFC tonight; 7.45pm KO at Nethermoor.

The majority of players are expected to play a half each, although Under-21 captain Regan Booty and Under-18 defender Jordan Williams have also made the journey as substitutes.

The only players missing from the First Team squad tonight are latest signing Aaron Mooy, who is playing catch-up with his teammates having only trained for two days to date, and the injured Joe Murphy (shoulder).

Town’s first-half team includes two new summer signings; goalkeeper Joel Coleman and record transfer Christopher Schindler (pictured above).

In Wagner’s 4-2-3-1 formation, Jordy Hiwula will start in the number 10 slot tonight.
