REPORT: AFC EMLEY 0-4 TOWN U21s

18 July 2016

Pre-season win for the Development Squad

- Town's U21s win at AFC Emley
- Charles, Scott, Booty & Colville score
- Highlights on HTTV on Tuesday

Frankie Bunn’s league-winning Under-21 side won comfortably at regular pre-season opponent AFC Emley on Monday evening.

Town’s Senior Professional Development Coach named a young side to start the evening, which included trialist winger Armani Daly, formerly of Spurs.

It didn’t take the youngsters long to open the scoring against their non-league hosts, with Wales Under-21 international Jake Charles slotting home when one-on-one with the ‘keeper.

It was 1-0 at the interval, but it took the Terriers just four minutes of the second half to double the advantage when first year professional striker Cedwyn Scott got in front of a defender to turn home Jacob Hanson’s cross.

Midfielder Regan Booty made it three not too long later and Under-18 winger Luca Colville completed the scoring with 13 minutes left with a header.

Highlights of the game will appear on HTTV on Tuesday.

Town’s team (4-2-3-1):
Tadhg Ryan; Jack Senior, Dylan Cogill, Fraser Horsfall, Rarmani Edmonds-Green; Jamie Spencer, Sam Warde; Jake Charles, Jack Boyle, Armani Daly; Cedwyn Scott

Substitutes:
George Dorrington, Danny Kane, Jordan Williams, Jacob Hanson, Regan Booty, Luca Colville, Lewis O’Brien, Rekeil Pyke
