Huddersfield Town’s £179 adult Season Card offer ends at 9pm on Monday 1 August 2016 – and Chairman Dean Hoyle has urged fans to take advantage and be part of something special in the 2016/17 season.
The Ticket Office is open between 9am and 5pm today (Saturday) and from 10am until 4pm on Sunday, plus specially extended opening hours of 9am until 9pm on Monday to give fans a final chance to get their Season Card at the discounted prices!
Fans can buy in person at the Ticket Office or call 01484 484 123 during the above hours – and can buy online 24 hours a day HERE.
“The Season Card deadline of 9pm on Monday is fast approaching; after that, prices will increase to £400 adults. If you want to come to watch Town this season, it makes absolute sense to get your Season Card before then!” Dean explained.
“The initial take-up of the offer in the first 48 hours was absolutely huge and took us all by surprise; they were a couple of fantastic days at the Club.
“Naturally things have slowed down a bit since then, but we’re seeing a pickup as the deadline approaches. We’d expect that to continue over the weekend and especially on Monday, so don’t delay if you want one.”
Dean believes that the fantastic Shankly Trophy game against Liverpool FC has played its part in boosting Season Card sales again.
“When the teams came out for the Shankly Trophy game, it felt special. To have 21,000 fans in the John Smith’s Stadium felt and looked fantastic.
“Like me, I’m sure our fans want that kind of support every week. The game showed the potential that this Club possesses and we’re hopeful that the discounted Season Card prices give us the chance of experiencing that week in, week out.”
The Chairman believes the increased support will directly impact upon the team in the 2016/17 Sky Bet Championship season – and urged existing Town fans to play their part for the Club.
“Make no mistake – the Sky Bet Championship is a very competitive division. To have a successful season – regardless of what success looks like to each specific club – home form is always vital.
“The atmosphere on our home match days can play its part in helping the team get over the line, particularly in difficult moments. That’s been proven for years in football and we’re no different.
“I know that a lot of Town fans have already got their Season Cards, and I thank each and every one of you for your continued support. That’s absolutely vital. Now I’m asking you to act as ambassadors for your Club. If you know someone who is 50-50 on getting a card, or can think of a friend that you believe will enjoy the excitement ahead, please get them involved and encourage them to get their Season Card by 9pm on Monday!
