Tony Carss’ Town Under-18 side is in Professional Development League 2 North action for the first time in 2016 on Saturday when it hosts Sheffield United in a noon kick-off.
The game was originally scheduled to start at 11am, but has been knocked back an hour to give the pitch time to recover with frost forecast overnight.
The side will be looking to pick up where it left off in the final game of last year, when it defeated visitors Bolton Wanderers 5-1 at PPG Canalside. Highlights of that game are below courtesy of HTTV
The young Terriers go into tomorrow’s match unbeaten in their last six league games, winning four of them - including a 7-0 victory over Hull City.
Town’s Under-18s currently sit sixth in the PDL2 after accumulating 26 points from 16 games, whilst opponents United sit fourth in the table with 31 points from 18 games.
Led by Lead Professional Development Coach Travis Binnion, the young Blades won 4-3 at home to Crewe in their most recent outing last weekend.

The Professional Development League 2 is split into two regional divisions; North and South. Teams play each team in their own division twice and the other division once. The top two teams from each region meet then meet in the Play-Offs to determine the overall PDL2 champions.
