Wagner makes two changes to the starting XI
- David Wagner names team for Charlton Athletic
- Two changes to Huddersfield Town side
- Jed Steer and Emyr Huws return to XI
Huddersfield Town Head Coach David Wagner has made two changes to his starting XI for tonight’s Sky Bet Championship game against Charlton Athletic; 7.45pm kick-off at the John Smith’s Stadium.
As expected, Jed Steer has returned in place of Joe Murphy in goal after his parent club Aston Villa wouldn’t allow him to play for Town in the Emirates FA Cup on Saturday.
The other change comes in midfield, where Emyr Huws returns from the illness that kept him out of the weekend’s game. He takes Sean Scannell’s place; the winger has a sore knee and isn’t in the match day squad.
Tommy Smith has recovered from the knock to his ankle that forced him off in Town’s previous game to start this evening, whilst nine goal top scorer Nahki Wells is making his 150th start in English football tonight.
