As expected, loanee Jed Steer returns to replace Joe Murphy in goal after not being allowed to play in the Emirates FA Cup at Reading.

The third change comes in midfield, where the suspended Jonathan Hogg’s place is taken by Martin Cranie.

Midweek signing Karim Matmour is among the substitutes today, but Ishmael Miller is not; he isn’t in Brighton due to a hamstring injury.
