Huddersfield Town Head Coach David Wagner has made five changes to the starting XI for the first game of 2016 at Bolton Wanderers; 3pm kick-off at the Macron Stadium.

The headline news is the inclusion of Jed Steer in goal, who has re-joined the Club on loan from Aston Villa for the rest of the 2015/16 season this morning. He replaces Joe Murphy, who drops to the bench.

Joel Lynch is also back in the side, replacing Martin Cranie at centre back. Today is the big centre back’s 100th league start for Huddersfield Town.

Another change has come in the back four, with Ben Chilwell replacing Jason Davidson at left back. Today’s game is the final one of the defender’s Emergency Loan spell from Leicester City.

The other two changes come in attack, where Joe Lolley and Sean Scannell are recalled in place of Mustapha Carayol and Jamie Paterson.

Ishmael Miller is back among the substitutes having missed the last two fixtures with a lower back problem, replacing Flo Bojaj. He will sit alongside Kyle Dempsey, who takes Philip Billing’s place as a substitute.
