Huddersfield Town’s Under-18 side will be in action for the first time in 2016 when it travels to Hull City this weekend in the Professional Development League 2 North.

Tony Carss’ side hasn’t played a league fixture since beating Bolton Wanderers 5-1 on 19 December after the scheduled fixture against Sheffield United last weekend was postponed.

Unbeaten in six league games, the young Terriers will look to continue their fine run of form from before the festive period, which includes the 7-0 mauling of the Tigers in October. Highlights of the game are below on HTTV!

Town currently sits sixth in the PDL2 with games in hand over teams above them, whilst this weekend’s opponents are second from bottom. Click HERE for the latest Premier League U18 bulletin with all the tables, results and fixtures.

The Tigers, who have also seen their last two games postponed, have conceded five in each of their last two league games against Sheffield United and Crewe. City has lost nine of their 11 fixtures at home this campaign.

Saturday’s game will be played at Bishop Burton College, the home of Hull City’s new academy, with kick-off at 11am (Bishop Burton College, York Road, Bishop Burton, HU17 8QG).

If you can’t make the trip up to Humberside, you can keep up-to-date with the score-line via Town’s Twitter account, @htafcdotcom.

The Professional Development League 2 is split into two regional divisions, North and South. Teams play opponents in their own division twice and the other division once, before the top two teams from each league meet in the Play-Offs to determine the overall champions.
