Ben Chilwell’s Youth Loan from Premier League Leicester City ended after Saturday’s 2-0 Sky Bet Championship win at Bolton Wanderers.

Having joined the Club on 19 November 2015, Ben made seven starts and one substitute appearance for the Terriers in the Sky Bet Championship, during which time David Wagner’s side won four games, drew one and lost three.

After Saturday’s win at the Macron Stadium, Huddersfield Town Head Coach David Wagner commented:

“He has done a very good job; he is a great English talent.

“We are not in the position to make the decision to keep him here – Leicester is – so we have to wait. If there is any chance he can stay longer we will try to take this, but I think the chances are not so high.

“I think Ben would like to stay, but he is also not the person who makes the final decision. We all have to look to Leicester and wait.”
