Guests attending the SOLD OUT 1979/80 Reunion event on Friday 5 February 2016 will be joined by the actual Fourth Division Championship Trophy lifted by Mick Buxton and his legendary team!

The team, featuring favourites including Mally Brown, Keith Hanvey and Captain Peter Hart, will join team mate Steve Kindon and iconic Manager Mick Buxton in an evening of reflections, memories and behind the scenes stories from a season full of victories and goals galore!

There will be lots to talk about, such as Club records for the most home victories and the most league goals; an incredible 101!

Find out how Kindon watched the Terriers in secret ahead of his £40,000 move from Burnley in the December of the title-winning campaign; hear Ian Robins discuss netting the Club’s 100th goal of an incredible season and listen to the team discuss games such as the big 7-1 victory over Port Vale.

Town’s Events Coordinator Katie Barraclough commented:

“It’s great that the event has sold out and that so many of the fans are going to get the opportunity to see and listen to their heroes from such a memorable season.

"I am delighted we have been able to find the Fourth Division Championship Trophy and would like to thank The Football League for allowing us to have it on display for the evening.”

Tickets are now SOLD OUT but a full review of the evening will be available on htafc.com after the event.
