Scottish forward leaves 'The Yorkshire Club'

- Liam Coogans departs Huddersfield Town
- Scottish striker spent 17 months at the Club
- Contract terminated by mutual consent

Development Squad striker Liam Coogans has today departed Huddersfield Town after his contract was terminated by mutual consent.

Now 19 years old, Liam initially joined Huddersfield Town in August 2014 from Scottish side Airdrieonians, where he had made 14 starts and 19 substitute appearances – scoring four goals – across the Scottish Championship and League One.

In his first season, Liam started 21 games and made a further three substitute appearances for the Under-18 side, scoring five goals.

He has subsequently made one start and two substitute appearances for Frankie Bunn’s Under-21 team, whilst he also made three substitute appearances for Queen of the South during a loan spell during the first half of the 2015/16 campaign

His contact at the Club was due to run until the end of the 2015/16 season, with Huddersfield Town holding the option of a year’s extension.

Everyone at Huddersfield Town would like to wish Liam all the best for the future.
