Wagner makes four changes to Town’s starting XI

- David Wagner makes four changes to starting XI
- Cranie, Schindler, Hefele & Wells start
- Hudson (injured), Scannell (injured), Smith (suspended) & Stanković replaced

Huddersfield Town Head Coach David Wagner has made four changes to the starting XI for today’s Sky Bet Championship game against Blackburn Rovers; 3pm kick-off at Ewood Park.

The first change is the expected one at right back, where Martin Cranie makes his first start of the season. He replaces the suspended Tommy Smith, who missed today having picked up his fifth yellow card of the season against Wigan Athletic on Monday night.

There are also two changes at centre back, where the injured Mark Hudson (hamstring) and Jon Gorenc Stanković are replaced by Christopher Schindler and Michael Hefele. Stanković is among the substitutes this afternoon.

The final switch comes in the attacking areas, where another injured player – Sean Scannell (ankle) – is replaced by reigning Player of the Year Nahki Wells.

Jonathan Hogg, who turns 28 on Tuesday, is making his 100th Sky Bet Championship appearance for the Terriers today.

There is another change on the bench, where Joel Coleman deputises for Joe Murphy today.
