A goal in each half gave Huddersfield Town’s Under-18s a 2-0 victory against table toppers Sheffield United in the U18 Professional Development League on Saturday morning.

Tony Carss’ youngsters got off to a positive start when Olly Dyson put them ahead after just 14 minutes.

Following the half-time interval, the young Terriers started positively once again; Denilson Carvalho hit a superb strike into the top corner to double Town’s lead.

With only a few minutes remaining, Harry Clibbens received his second yellow card of the morning and was subsequently sent off.

Highlights of the game will appear on HTTV in the week.
