Huddersfield Town’s Chief Scout Josh Marsh has recently appeared as a guest on Scout7’s football industry podcast.
Alongside Rob MacKenzie and Andy Stone, who both worked in the Premier League last season at Tottenham Hotspur and Southampton respectively, Marsh (pictured above, right) discussed the impact of data and analysis in the player recruitment process and how it is used to support more traditional scouting methods.
Together, the trio also discussed how technical scouting staff typically operate on a week-to-week basis and how they present their key findings to the Head Coach and Head of Football Operations.
