'Boothy’s Beer & Banter’ returns to PPG Canalside on Saturday 10 December ahead of Town’s Sky Bet Championship game at home to Bristol City.
Club Ambassador Andy Booth will be back to host 'Boothy’s Beer & Banter' and will be joined by former Manchester City, Leicester City and Scotland striker Paul Dickov.
Paul has plenty to talk about from a long and eventful playing career; after being part of the Arsenal squad that won the 1994 UEFA Cup Winners' Cup, he helped Man City regain its top flight status before repeating the feat at Leicester. He also won promotion from League 1 twice; once with the Foxes and again with Leeds United.
Dickov, who was known as 'The Wasp' and 'The Pest' during his playing days for his industrious style of play as a striker, has also enjoyed managerial spells at Oldham Athletic and Doncaster Rovers.
Fans will have the opportunity to join Boothy and Dickov and ask them questions, hear stories of their time in the game as well as take part in a quiz with prizes to be won.
‘Boothy’s Beer and Banter’ is free for all members and £2 on the door for non-members, to join PPG Canalside as a member costs £20 a year-you can join on the day or earlier to avoid queues.
Food is available on the day as well as drinks from the bar with real ales including; Theakston's Lightfoot and Timothy Taylor's Landlord. There are special offers on four pint pitchers of John Smith's Smooth, Fosters, Heineken and Rekorderlig – all at £10. Draught Strongbow is also available.
