Tony Carss’ side started their Under-18 Professional Development League 2 season with a point after a late Bristol City equaliser.

Town edged the first half and created the best chances but struggled to find the opening goal.

It took the young Terriers just three minutes to open the scoring in the second half, when Luca Colville put Tony Carss’ side ahead.

Midway through the second half Bristol City pulled one back but Town went ahead again this time through striker Cedwyn Scott.

Town’s lead didn’t last long and five minutes before full-time Bristol City equalised, meaning the young Terriers started their 2016/17 season with a draw against the southern division side.

The Under-18s team consisted of two trialists; Denilson Carvalho started the game while Geriant Evans was brought on for goal scorer Luca Colville with ten minutes remaining.

Highlights of the game will appear on HTTV.
