Huddersfield Town’s Under-18s side will play their first home match of the Under-18 Professional Development League 2 North season on Saturday when they face Colchester United.
The match against the PDL2 South side will take place at PPG Canalside on the pitch over the canal and will kick-off at 11am. Town fans can watch the game completely free of charge!
Last weekend Tony Carss’ side drew 2-2 away at Bristol City. The home side equalised with just five minutes remaining which earned them a point. You can watch the highlights from this game courtesy of HTTV below!
The point against Bristol City means the young Terriers are currently sixth in the Professional Development League 2 North, two points off Sheffield United who were the only North side to win last weekend.
Town’s opponents, Colchester United started the season off with a 3-2 win against Nottingham Forest and currently sit second in the Under-18 PDL2 South.
The Professional Development League 2 is split into two regional divisions, North and South. Teams play opponents in their own division twice and the other division once, before the top two teams from each league meet in the Play-Offs to determine the overall champions.
Why not pop in to PPG Canalside for a drink or food before the match? Adi Moses will also be at PPG Canalside on Saturday for the first ever ‘Boothy’s Beer & Banter’! Follow @htafccanalside for more information.
