ICONIC TRIO AT TOWN vs WOLVES ON SATURDAY

23 August 2016

Your afternoon starts with 'Boothy's Beer & Banter' at 12.30pm!

- Big-name trio at Huddersfield Town vs Wolves on Saturday
- Steve Bull, Ed Clancy & Andrew Gale attending the game
- Bull kicks-off the day at PPG Canalside with Boothy

On top of seeing David Wagner's in-form side hosting Wolves in Sky Bet Championship action, it's today been confirmed that there are three more good reasons to come to Huddersfield Town on Saturday!

Legendary Wolves striker Steve Bull, Olympic and European track cycling champion Ed Clancy and Yorkshire CCC captain Andrew Gale will all be at this weekend's game.

Bull will join forces with another footballing legend - Town’s Club Ambassador Andy Booth - to kick-off the afternoon at PPG Canalside, where ‘Boothy’s Beer & Banter’ will return at 12.30pm.

This new event at PPG Canalside will invite fans to come down and take part in ‘Beer and Banter with Boothy’ and special guest Bull, who will join Andy for fun on stage and to answer any questions from Town fans.

Steve will then make his way to the White Rose Club at the John Smith's Stadium, where he will be in the prestigious White Rose Club answering further questions from hospitality guests!

Boothy’s Beer & Banter will run before every home game this season with different guests joining Boothy on stage that will range from current players to people from outside the Club, all to share funny different experiences.

Boothy’s Beer & Banter is free for members and £2 for non-members on the door. Food and bar service starts at the same time, so get down early!

PPG Canalside is the ideal pre-match venue Saturday. There is car parking for members on a first come, first served basis with just a 15 minute walk to the John Smith's Stadium. Entry is £2 per adult (non-members). To join PPG Canalside as a member costs £20 for the year - you can join on Saturday or come earlier to avoid queues!

Match day food available includes breakfast butties!

Real Ales include Theakston's Lightfoot and Timothy Taylor's Landlord. There are special offers on four pint pitchers of John Smith's Smooth, Fosters, Heineken and Rekorderlig – all at £10. Draught Strongbow is also available.

Post-match, the bar is still open so why not come in for a coffee or tea (for the driver) and catch up with the results on Sky Sports News whilst the traffic eases?

PPG Canalside - the ideal venue to meet up!

Once you get to the John Smith's Stadium ahead of the game, Olympic team pursuit gold medalist Ed Clancy will be a guest of the Club following his track success at the Rio 2016 Olympics.

Ed, who has been honoured with an MBE, is a Patron of the Town Foundation and is now a three-time Olympic gold medalist in the team pursuit, so you can come down and give him the ovation his achievements deserve!

The third guest on the afternoon needs little introduction to Town fans; Yorkshire CCC captain Andrew Gale.

A regular at the Club, huge Town fan 'Galey' - who is also a Patron of the Town Foundation - will be another guest of the Club and will be mingling with supporters in the Club's hospitality areas ahead of - and after - the game.
