The Stadium Superstore, The Packhorse Centre store and htafcmegastore.com have seen the busiest July on record with fans flocking to purchase the new 2016/17 Huddersfield Town kits!
The new home shirt has proven popular since its launch on 24 June 2016. Featuring Huddersfield Town blue and white stripes, a sublimated Pure Legal Limited sponsor and a gold front Puma on the shirt has become the fastest selling Huddersfield Town shirt on record.
Town’s away hooped vibrant yellow and black kit and the red Ray Wilson third kit that is a tribute to England’s World Cup winning shirt in 1966, have also been massively popular this season with more away colours sold than any other on record.
Fans can still purchase ‘Wilson 66’ on the back of their third kit shirts with £10 being donated to an Alzheimer's charity.
Huddersfield Town’s Retail Manager Luke Cowan has this to say on recent sales:
“It has been a very busy period for the retail department! We have seen three of the best kits in Huddersfield Town history this season, it was important we listened to fans regarding the home shirt and tried to mix tradition with modern touches.
“The third shirt has also proven extremely popular with over 40 people purchasing ‘Wilson 66’ shirts!
“For this and our July sales I would just like to thank fans for their overwhelming interest and support.”
Fans can still purchase all three Huddersfield Town kits at the Stadium Superstore (Mon-Fri 9am-5pm, Sat 9am-12noon) or at the Packhorse Centre store (Mon-Sat 9am-5pm) as well as 24/7 online at www.htafcmegastore.com.
