Head Coach David Wagner has handed Rajiv van La Parra his home debut as one of three changes to Town’s starting XI for today’s game at home to Hull City; 3pm kick-off at the John Smith’s Stadium.

The 24 year-old Dutchman makes his first home appearance in the famous blue and white striped shirt, replacing Harry Bunn in the line-up.

The second change to the team sees Martin Cranie make the 350th appearance of his domestic career at centre back; he takes Joel Lynch’s place in the team.

On his final Huddersfield Town appearance – his Emergency Loan from Middlesbrough reaches the maximum 93 days today – James Husband starts for the Terriers at left back in place of Jason Davidson, having been ineligible to play against his parent club in midweek.

There are a few other landmarks reached by Town’s players this afternoon. Jamie Paterson makes the 200th appearance of his career in all competitions; Nahki Wells makes his 150th start in English football and Joe Lolley makes his 50th Sky Bet Championship appearance for Huddersfield Town.
