Find out what's in store for the junior Terriers next weekend- Brentford match is a 'Schools Focus' game
- Lots in store for HTAFC's young fans
- Thousands of leaflets given out
Town’s final game of the 2015/16 Sky Bet Championship season at home to Brentford on Saturday 7 May is also the final ‘Schools Focus’ game of the season, so there’s plenty in store for the Club’s younger supporters!
The 'Schools Focus' scheme, which is supported by Syngenta, allows pupils from one of the 100 schools Town works with across the region come to watch the Terriers at a discounted rate, whilst earning cashback for their school at the same time.
The Club’s staff has hand-delivered the leaflets – alongside information on Town’s 2016/17 #WagnerRevolution Season Cards – to schools across the region over the last month.
With over 1,000 extra kids expected in the Fantastic Media Upper Tier Family Zone on Saturday, the Club has ensured there’s plenty for them to enjoy on top of the 90 minutes of action on the pitch against the Bees. Get down early and take part!
There will be a face painter and a balloon modeller in the Upper Tier concourse ahead of the 12.30pm kick-off, whilst popular mascots ‘Terry the Terrier’ and ‘Captain Booth’ – the official mascot of the Town Foundation charity – will also be on hand to say hello.
On the pitch, local junior club partner Honley Juniors’ players will form the pre-match Guard of Honour to welcome both teams onto the pitch. The HTAFC Club Partnership sponsored by John Walton Machine Tools is totally FREE for junior clubs to join – click HERE for info.
