TOWN’S TEAM vs CHARLTON

15 September 2015

Four changes to starting XI

- Carayol & Huws make full debuts
- Miller and Davidson return to starting XI
- Scannell makes 150th career start

Manager Chris Powell has handed Mustapha Carayol and Emyr Huws full Huddersfield Town debuts in tonight’s Sky Bet Championship game at Charlton Athletic; 7.45pm kick-off at the Valley.

Welsh international Huws comes into midfield in place of Jonathan Hogg, who has returned north after picking up an ankle injury at Cardiff City on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Middlesbrough loanee Carayol (pictured above) comes into the starting XI in place of Jamie Paterson, who drops to the bench.

Ishmael Miller also comes into the team in place of top scorer Nahki Wells, whereas Australian Jason Davidson lines up at left back in place of Tommy Smith.

The space vacated by Hogg’s injury in the match day 18 sees 19 year old Danish midfielder Philip Billing on the bench tonight.

London-born Sean Scannell is making the 150th start of his career this evening, whereas Martin Cranie is playing against a team he played on loan for in the 2008/09 season, when he made 19 starts for the Addicks.
