Town’s Under-18 side couldn’t make it three wins from three on Saturday morning, losing a tight game 2-1 at Cardiff City in the Professional Development League 2.
The young Terriers, lining up without defender Jordan Williams as he joined up with the England Under-17 squad ahead of an upcoming international, fell behind inside 11 minutes in Wales.
However second year scholar Jamie Spencer (pictured above), fresh from his first start for the Club’s Under-21 side on Thursday, scored from a 34th minute corner routine to restore parity in the score-line.
Cardiff scored what proved to be the winning goal just before the hour mark.
Highlights from the game will appear on HTTV on Monday!
