Join the Education Academy for your next academic step

- Play Futsal for Huddersfield Town
- Gain a BTEC via an online platform
- Lots of exit routes into higher education

If you are aged between 16 and 18 and you’re still unsure of your next educational step, the Education Academy based at The Zone is offering an Education and Futsal programme to both male and female candidates who are interested in pursuing a career within sport.

Through the programme students are able to gain a BTEC and play Futsal for the Huddersfield Town Futsal team. Unlike a regular college course, students on the FLT Education and Futsal programme use an online platform that offers modern, paperless learning allowing students to swap the mundane classroom for studying in a sporting environment.

The programme offers an array of exit routes, ranging from a University education (including Football League Trust’s Community Football Coaching & Development Foundation Degree) to careers in the sports and leisure sector, both in the UK and overseas. A number of students have progressed to employment within their football club, whilst several have pursued Soccer Scholarships in the USA.

The BTEC programme is offered to Levels 1, 2 and 3 and it isn’t too late to apply for courses that start in September 2015:
