A DAY AT THE POLO: REVIEW

10 September 2015

Huddersfield Town guests enjoy an afternoon at the Polo

Over 30 guests from the Club’s business partner portfolio joined Huddersfield Town at the Polo last Friday.

After a full breakfast at PPG Canalside, guests were taken by coach to Chester Race Course to enjoy an afternoon at the Roodee Challenge Polo Tournament where guests watched teams MBNA, Stella Artois, ITC Luxury Travel and LDF battle it out in the semi-final stages of the two day tournament.

With many being first timers to the sport, guests were tested on their knowledge of polo before the action began and some even took the opportunity to try out the sport for themselves.  Picnic hampers courtesy of Club Partners’ Haighs Farm Shop, John Smiths and Approved Foods filled the guests before they took part in the long standing half time tradition of ‘divot stomping’

Here’s some feedback from just a few of the happy guests below:

“Thanks for an excellent day on Friday. Both myself and my guest thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.”

“Well done and congratulations to you for making it a memorable occasion. Another success for HTAFC Commercial. Looking forward to the next one.”
