JASON IN LINE FOR MORE AUSTRALIA CAPS

28 October 2015

Left back to face Kyrgyzstan & Bangladesh during international break

- Jason Davidson in latest Australia squad
- Socceroos to play games vs Kyrgyzstan & Bangladesh
- Defender will not miss any Huddersfield Town games

Huddersfield Town defender Jason Davidson has been named in the latest Australia squad for an upcoming pair of World Cup qualifiers.

Jason, who has 21 caps for his country, has been named in Coach Ange Postecoglou’s squad for the games at home to Kyrgyzstan on 12 November and in Bangladesh on 17 November.

The Socceroos sit second in Group B, four points behind leaders Jordan with a game in hand.

The winners of the group will advance to the next stage of qualifying, with the ultimate aim to reach the final 2018 World Cup tournament in Russia.

Jason, who joined Town in the summer following his departure from West Bromwich Albion, has started 13 games for the Club at the start of the campaign.

The Terriers will not be in action during the latest spate of internationals, so Jason will return to England well in time for the Sky Bet Championship game at Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday 21 November.
