FOREST (H) IN U21 PREMIER LEAGUE CUP

6 October 2015

Young Terriers handed home draw

- HTAFC U21s at home to Nottingham Forest in Premier League Cup
- Game at John Smith's Stadium on 26 October
- Terriers reached quarter finals last season

Huddersfield Town’s Under-21 side has been drawn at home to Nottingham Forest in the Qualifying Round 2 of the 2015/16 Premier League Cup.

The game will take place on Monday 26 October 2015 at the John Smith’s Stadium, with a 1pm kick-off. Admission to the game will be priced at £4 for adults and £2 concessions; juniors, seniors and Season Card holders.

Nottingham Forest is one of only two to inflict a competitive defeat on Town at Under-21 level so far this season, winning 2-0 at PPG Canalside on 29 August.

Senior Professional Development Coach Frankie Bunn’s side reached the quarter finals of the competition last year, defeating Barnsley, Everton and Charlton Athletic before losing 1-0 in the last few seconds against Reading.

HTAFC enters the competition at the Qualifying Round 2 stage due to the Academy’s Category 2 status.

As in the PDL2, teams can play a maximum of three overage outfields and an overage goalkeeper.

The winner has to be decided on the day, so extra time and penalties will be utilised if required.
