U21s IN ACTION AT HOME ON MONDAY

1 November 2015

Frankie Bunn’s Development Squad at PPG Canalside

- HTAFC U21s play on Monday
- Sheffield United visits PPG Canalside at 1pm
- Town enter game with seven game winning streak

Huddersfield Town’s Under-21 side is back in action on Monday afternoon when Sheffield United visits PPG Canalside for a Yorkshire derby.

Senior Professional Development Coach Frankie Bunn’s side goes into the game atop the Professional Development League 2 North table, with 22 points from 10 games.

The Development Squad can boast a seven game winning streak at the moment, with the latest coming in the U21 Premier League Cup; a deserved 1-0 victory over visitors Nottingham Forest.

Bunn’s team has only included any of the three permitted overage outfielders on two occasions this season, but it could have an even more youthful look to it on Monday with several of the players likely to be on the road with the First Team ahead of Tuesday night’s Sky Bet Championship game at Reading.

Monday’s opposition Sheffield United come into the game in fourth place in the table with 13 points from eight games. Led by former Blades centre back Chris Morgan, the Blades defeated Hull City 3-1 in their previous fixture.

There is a suggested donation of £1 to watch the 1pm kick-off at PPG Canalside, for which spectators will receive a team sheet.
