Pyke & Spencer goals give young Terriers the win
- HTAFC U18s defeat Birmingham City
- Rekeil Pyke & Jamie Spencer score
- Highlights on HTTV on Monday
Goals from striker Rekeil Pyke and midfielder Jamie Spencer gave Town’s Under-18 side a home win over visitors Birmingham City in the Professional Development League 2 North at PPG Canalside on Saturday morning.
The young Terriers dominated the first half and could have been out of sight at the interval, but only had second year scholar Pyke’s strike – preceded by an excellent chipped pass from midfielder Jack Boyle – to show for their dominance.
In the end, it took a goal from Captain Spencer to secure all three points.
Highlights of the game will appear on HTTV on Monday.
